This is the Nike Book 2, a pair of men's basketball shoes we hold in 10 colourways and US 7 to 14.
Indoor or outdoor decides the outsole, and it is the choice most often skipped. Court shoes built for polished timber use a softer rubber with a fine herringbone pattern, which grips indoors and wears down quickly on concrete. If you play mainly outdoors, look for a harder, thicker outsole and expect an indoor-only shoe to lose its bite within a season.
Cut height is about feel rather than protection. A high top wraps above the ankle and feels locked in, adding some weight and restricting a little movement. A low top is lighter and freer. Research has not settled whether high tops prevent ankle injuries, and we will not claim they do: choose the cut that feels secure and lets you move the way you play.
Colourways include Black / Black / Safety Orange; Black / Multi; Court Purple / Sail / Platinum Violet; Metallic Silver / Sport Red / Black and 6 more. We are an independent retailer rather than an authorised stockist, and this product is made by the brand named on it.
