Sizes are set by each manufacturer and are not interchangeable between them. The US, UK and EU figures shown here come from the maker, and the same nominal size can fit noticeably differently between two brands. Our shoe sizing guide explains why, and how to measure your foot properly.
Get the width right before you adjust the length. If the upper strains over the midsole or the sides of your foot feel compressed, the shoe is too narrow, and buying a longer size only adds space at the toe while the pressure across the foot stays exactly where it was.
