The New Balance 2002R is a pair of men's running shoes, available in 2 colourways and US 8 to 13.
Midsole foam loses its resilience with use, and it does so well before the outsole looks worn out. The usual sign is that shoes which used to feel fine start leaving your legs sore. Rotating two pairs lets foam recover between runs and generally extends the life of both.
Cushioning is a preference rather than a ranking. A taller, softer midsole absorbs more impact over long distances and suits easy days and higher mileage. A lower, firmer shoe gives more ground feel and a more direct push-off, which many runners prefer for shorter and faster sessions. The right amount is close to what your legs are already used to; changing it sharply is a common cause of new aches.
Colourways include Black / Black Metallic; Sea Salt / Silver Metallic. We are an independent retailer rather than an authorised stockist, and this product is made by the brand named on it. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply to everything we sell: see our warranty page.
